Overview
A mommy makeover is not one operation. It is a planned combination of procedures addressing the changes left by pregnancy, usually a tummy tuck with muscle repair, a breast lift or augmentation, and waist liposuction. Which of them are done together, and whether they can be done in one session at all, is decided by your surgeon and anaesthetist on safety grounds after examination; there are limits on total operating time and blood loss.

Examination and the combination decision
Your surgeon and anaesthetist decide which procedures can safely be combined. If the total operating time exceeds what is safe for you, the programme is split into two stages; that decision belongs to the clinical team, not to the package.

The operation
The combined operation takes 5–6 hours under general anaesthetic, after which you stay two nights in hospital. Drains are used for the abdomen and a support bra for the breasts.

Checks and flight clearance
Drains come out, stitches are removed and you are shown how to use the garment and support bra. You fly home once your surgeon clears you; the programme runs 12–14 days.
Aftercare & long-term tips
Use the abdominal garment and support bra for as long as you are told, walk short distances from the first day and lift nothing heavy for six weeks. Apply silicone tape or gel to the abdominal scar for at least six months once the wound has closed. Remote follow-up continues with photographs, and the final result is assessed at 12 months.

Stick to soft, lukewarm foods and drinks; avoid very hot or hard items while any numbness or sensitivity settles.
First few days
Ease back into normal eating as sensitivity fades — usually within a few days.

Risks and an honest expectation
When operations are combined, their risks combine too: bleeding, deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism, wound healing problems along the abdominal scar, seroma, and breast asymmetry or altered sensation. A long anaesthetic is itself a risk factor. Total operating time is therefore capped, clot prevention measures are used, you stay two nights in hospital under observation, and where the combination is not judged safe the procedures are split into two separate stages.
